For Dad

He taught me to work hard and to be a “maker”. He was a hunter, a fireman, a welder, a boat builder, and a jack of all trades. He taught me to be safe around fire and spend time in the woods.

The texture is cast from oak leaves from around our cabin, the bronze temped out around 2400 degrees, and I used many of his own tools in the process. I have a lot of grinding to do and attaching it to the stone, but the hard part is finally over. I have nothing but gratitude for the dozen+ people who helped make this happen and dealt with my stress during plaster, wax, molding, and pouring.
