split the grain.
put your back into it.
collect and stack and carry armfuls along with you.
wage war against the frigid, unmoving.
accept discomfort [but fight for flames]

it’s easy to grow cold.
harder to look down into a coal black chamber,
keep a smolder and wait.
keep stoking.
be patient.
let the flames grow in your own time.
nobody needs to know.

heat the steel.
warm the stones.

simmer tea water, pour off and steep what you need and let the rest evaporate.
permeate lungs.
radiate outward.
